RTR Accountant/Accounting Specialist

**Your responsibilities:**
+ Preparing manual and automatic posting and entering them into the system as part of the general ledger
+ Reconciling balance sheet accounts and general ledger accounts
+ Closing accounting periods in accordance with the defined list of activities and provisions of the service contract
+ Posting prepayments and accruals and provisions
+ Opening and closing accounting periods in the books
+ Receiving fixed assets
+ Ongoing posting of fixed assets
+ Updating fixed assets records
+ Posting depreciation
+ Reconciling bank account accounts
+ Perform iPace controls
+ Job-related support for other team members (support for less experienced colleagues)
+ Identifying the sources and gaps in the process, proposing and implementing improvements (Kaizen ideas)
+ Contribution to Internal/External Audit preparation and presentation to auditors
+ Active participation in the projects conducted by the SSC
+ SOPs maintenance (preparation, update)
+ Coordination of assigned topics - rising risks, monitoring, solutions implementation
+ Performing basic and repetitive reporting
+ Other specific activities determined for the assigned accounting area
+ Other activities and duties ordered by the immediate superior
+ Assisting in other day-to-day administrative tasks
+ Follow and comply with all relevant FME policies, guidelines, manuals and SOPs in the version as amended from time to time (“FME Policies”)
+ Keep yourself updated about the current version of the FME Policies that are relevant for your role and integrate corporate values in daily business
+ Compliance with SSC’s internal procedures and instructions
+ Compliance with the rules set out in the service contract between the SSC and the local organization in terms of: timeliness and quality
**Our requirements:**
+ Bachelor or Master degree (Economics, Finance and Accounting or related education)
+ Very good command of English (min. B2)
+ Good Knowledge of Accounting Principles
+ **Experience with SAP system**
+ Knowledge of MS Office (in particular practical knowledge of MS Excel at an intermediate level)
+ Good analytical skills with ability to organize and analyze data
+ Good Communication skills
+ Ability to work independently
+ Ability to pay close attention to detail
