JOB DESCRIPTION- RSO  SL NO Job description / Skill Requirement: 1 Overall responsibility in reporting to NRRC about the availability/activity/condition of the radiation sources, source projectors and radiation dose of workers by coordinating with the various work sites. 2 Overall responsibility in the movement of sources within the Kingdom and fulfilling the local regulations for the same through Police, Customs, etc. 3 Preparation and review of radiation safety procedures, emergency procedures etc., pertaining to the requirement of NRRC, Aramco etc., 4 Overall responsibility in obtaining the approval from NRRC, ARAMCO, SABIC, SWCC, SEC and other clients in KSA. 5 Identify the legal and other requirements and compliance to the same in radiation safety and apply permits for source imports, use, handling, transportation use, and export as per NRRC requirements. 6 Overall responsibility in personnel qualification, monitoring all radiographic personnel dose, keep records of personnel dose and sealed source information, issue and collect personnel dosimeter, monitor radioactive materials and x ray generating equipment movement, safety audits and calibration of radiation monitors, EPD. Issue, allocate monitor the TLD controls with the service provider. 7 To attend the situation by immediate direct presence whenever potential radiation hazard is reported and to assure the control as soon as possible ensuring that necessary precaution is implemented. 8 Responsible for tracking & renewing the licenses for Vehicles used for transporting radioactive sources, Storage Pits and Radiography Sources. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS 1 Certified as RSO as per NRRC requirement 2 Good communication skill 3 Minimum 3 years  work experience  4 Source Retrival Certificate
