The RRI conducts innovative research and program evaluation that address critical community issues. We work at the intersection of research, practice, training, and policy with local, state, regional, national, and international agencies and partners. The quality of our community-based participatory action work has gained us a national reputation. Position Summary The goal of the Oregon Supported Employment Center of Excellence (OSECE) is to support the implementation and sustainability of Individual Placement and Support in Oregon, ensuring that the services are consistent with the evidence-based IPS model, Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), and current research. OSECE’s primary function is to provide technical assistance and support based on current and relevant research for the implementation of IPS for Oregon teams.
This position will be responsible for maintaining communication with external partners through social media and marketing, including the creation of a quarterly newsletter, posting content on the OSECE website, and working with subject matter experts to develop training and marketing materials.
The person in this position will work closely with our website developer for posting and maintaining website content. Duties include:
● Communicate with external partners through social media and marketing, including the OSECE listserv, a quarterly newsletter, and content on the OSECE website (recordings of past trainings, training resources related to supported employment, and a training calendar).
● Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training and marketing materials. addressing any gaps in existing resources and creating new content to fill them. These will include marketing and graphic design campaigns and materials for Training & Technical Assistance; multimodal training modules, and fact sheets on topics related to supported employment.
● Coordinate with OSECE teams on planning at least one annual statewide, in-person conference for professionals who work in behavioral health. Work with the conference committee to plan the conference theme, topics, and learning objectives; recruit and meet with potential speakers to develop and finalize the conference schedule. Minimum Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
● Four years’ experience in communications and social marketing, including the marketing and coordination of trainings and conferences
● Familiarity with creating and posting content to a variety of social media platforms, including websites
● Experience collaborating with community partners in behavioral health services, including those who provide culturally-specific services
● Experience in the field of public health, behavioral health, and/or training
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
● Excellent problem-solving skills
● Ability to balance workload, prioritize tasks, set boundaries, and meet deadlines
● Adept at Microsoft Office, A/V set up, and online-interface tools and documents
● Knowledge of Zoom, Google Hangout, Doodle, and other platforms, including those for social media
● Ability to engage with co-workers and community partners for scheduling, event support, and additional administrative requests
● Ability to field and respond promptly to general inquiries via website or social media channels, including directing to appropriate team member or subject matter expert for specific information Preferred Qualifications ● Knowledge or experience in Assertive Community Treatment and/or organizations providing ACT services, or working in conjunction with ACT providers.
● Knowledge or experience with diverse communities/populations; and/or expertise applying a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to work tasks
● Ability to listen, develop rapport and relate well with community partners through a trauma-informed/equity lens

Work Days/Hours Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement PSU has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity. The starting annual salary range for this position will be $56,880 to $58,766, but may be negotiated above this rate dependent upon the factors above, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. This is a benefited position: benefits include 95% premium paid health insurance, retirement plan, and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon University System schools.
