1) Relevant Experience

Proven experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / Distribution operations

Hands-on exposure to Returnable Packaging Management (RPM) including:

Crates, pallets, glass, kegs

Yard control and space optimisation

Packaging movements and integrity compliance

Experience working with / managing service providers / LSPs (e.g., LRSA, EnviroServ, cleaning/security partners)

2) Operational & Compliance Capability

Strong understanding of operational governance and internal controls (ICC / compliance discipline)

Ability to enforce site standards:

Safety compliance

Housekeeping

Risk management (16 Pillar / operational risk discipline)

3) KPI & Performance Management

Ability to manage and report daily, weekly, monthly KPIs, including:

OTIF / delivery performance

Sorting adherence

Truck performance (W2G / G2G)

Service provider performance

Strong execution management: planning, follow-up, closure discipline

4) Stock Control & Inventory Accuracy

Strong stock control mindset including:

Cycle counts / monthly stock takes

Loss control (stock losses, MBFU)

Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

5) Systems / Data Competence

Working knowledge of SAP inventory monitoring

ZMM75, MB51, ZMM112 (or equivalent)

Strong Excel / reporting capability

Ability to interpret data trends and convert them into operational action

6) Financial Acumen

Ability to manage and influence OPEX control

Experience in:

Budgeting and forecasting

Overspend identification and corrective actions

Claims/credits resolution

CAPEX workflow initiation (advantage)

7) Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication

Ability to coordinate across stakeholders including:

Packaging

Production planning

Procurement

DCS structures

LSP / suppliers

Strong leadership behaviours:

Accountability

Problem solving

Continuous improvement / TPM mindset
