Job Description:
Job PurposeThe position holder is responsible for collaboratively shaping this area and developing actionable recommendations for our business.
The main purpose of this role is to deploy and drive this SRM value creation strategy from the region into the local market by leveraging specific capabilities in Pricing, Promo, Mix, and Trade terms, translating these into short & mid-term annual plans, and supporting their deployment and execution across the markets. Furthermore, the role involves building strong partnerships and act directly with demand, regional SRM and MS&D teams (etc.). Given the importance of regional consistency, a dotted line is established between the regional and the local SRM teams. The role will represent the SRM function in defined S&OP+ Meetings.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy the regional SRM strategy (Pricing, Promo, Mix, and Trade terms) into local markets.
As a result of analysis, measurement, governance, respecting the European SRM frameworks, the associate will ensure Turning data into Insights and translating the strategy into clear Actions Plans for our business.
Local allocation of the promotional budget, developing guidelines on best ROI activities, provide governance guidelines and track performance.
Local allocation of the trade terms budget, developing guidelines on best ROI investments, provide governance guidelines and track performance.
Responsible for embedding the SRM concept into relevant business processes, especially into S&OP+, to ensure sustainable profitable growth.
Management of all related SRM escalations and associated Risks and Opportunities.
Act as a business partner for demand colleagues in all matters related to 'SRM' to ensure continuous optimization of our investments.
Engage in active exchange with the European SRM community to work side by side on new strategies and import best practice examples into local markets.
Develop into an expert and "Thought Leader" for the SRM discipline.
Serve as a business partner for the SRM area concerning the annual Operating Plan process.
QualificationsMaster's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in FMCG sales, demand or finance.
Strong English skills
Previous experience in revenue management is an advantage
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment paired with high organizational agility to influence change
A strong drive towards translating strategies into action, delivering results and engaging associates behind a common goal/vision
Ability to simplify complex concepts and strategies for diverse stakeholders using pragmatic solutions
Strong analytical skills, data-driven mindset and a structured way of working
