Shift:1st Shift 7am-3:30pm

\n

Days:Monday- Friday

\n

Pay: $21 per hour

\n

\n

Required Qualifications: Previous experience with MHE.

\n

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience loading/unloading flatbed/step deck trailers.

Rough Terrain Forklift Operator

Key Accountabilities:

Loading, unloading, moving, stocking, staging, and storing products and materials using rough terrain fork lifts (RTFLs) in an outdoor environment that is exposed to the elementsUtilize the telescoping boom with attachments for specific products as requiredProvide physical labor to move product to storage areas with proper material handling equipmentEfficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areasPull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is correctKeep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracyComply with all OSHA and MSDS standardsReport quality variancesMaintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashionAssist in physical inventoriesEnsure proper stock rotationPerform additional duties as assigned by management

Required Education and Experience:

HS Degree or equivalentForklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment6 months warehousing and inventory experienceSix months forklift operation experienceAbility to spend 80% of time operating powered material handling equipmentAbility to work in an outdoor environmentHave appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly execute position.Basic familiarity with the warehousingGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work specified shiftsAbility to follow work procedures and safety rulesAbility to read, understand, and follow directions/instructionsWorking knowledge of warehouse management system equipment
