This position is primarily responsible for grinding and cleaning of gates on the parts. Grinding gate flush to the surface where operator uses a variety of handheld tools and sanding belts. + Performs pre and post weld blend and preparation operations on castings using hand and bench mounted tools + Performs other duties as required. + Respects the values and code of ethics of the company. + Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. + Ability to handle hoists + Visual dexterity + Manual dexterity + Uses sound judgment High School Diploma or equivalent + 3 to 6 months on the-job training required for acceptable proficiency.
