JOB SUMMARY:
Assembles, disassembles, repairs, and/or modifies aircraft components by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle sub-components, consumables, and expendables to correct failures or implement upgrades or modifications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Follows technical data, company procedures, and established industry processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results).
· Perform validation and verification testing of components.
· Troubleshoots complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to isolate mechanical or other faults and repairs faulty components.
· Operate shop equipment to disassemble, troubleshoot, inspect, and repair aircraft components and assemblies.
· Perform corrosion control, maintenance inspections, miscellaneous duties to service components and test equipment, documents maintenance, records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily.
· Support the configuration of aircraft components and bench test equipment as required.
· Assist other employees to understand / solve problems; develops and sustains productive customer relationships

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
· Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
· FAA Airframe Powerplant license preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.· Minimum 6 months of mechanical experience is required.
· Aircraft maintenance experience is preferred
· Dynamic component repair, overhaul, and maintenance experience or knowledge of complex mechanical systems or components is preferred.
