**Job Description Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on Blisk MFG operations to join our lab environment team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, particularly in Milling, and will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing solutions to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). This will be a hands-on role.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Develop and optimize Blisk processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in a lab environment.
+ Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment for Blisk operations.
+ Conduct time studies and process flow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production to ensure seamless integration of turning processes.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to turning operations and equipment.
+ Maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and equipment specifications.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
+ Provide technical support and training to operators and technicians.
+ Monitor and analyze production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Stay current with industry trends and advancements in turning technology.
**Required Qualifications**
+ For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
+ Must be a US Citizen
**Desired Characteristics**
• Proven experience in Blisk operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and materials.
• Proficiency in NX CAD/CAM software, NREC, Vericut and CNC programming.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
