Rota nanny job in North London
Amazing opportunity to work for a Lovely family (Eden have worked with previously) for a dedicated experienced rota nanny!

 

Job Summary:  Eden are delighted to be working back with one of their favourite clients. Having placed their last two nannies, the family are now looking to add another rota nanny to keep up with their busy lifestyle. There are three healthy well-behaved children, a happy boy who is in school full-time, a daughter who attends nursery and the youngest boy who is 1. These lovely parents really do treat their staff well and are looking for a nanny who will stay with them long term, has experience working with multiple children, especially babies, is educationally focused with fluent English skills to help their children with speech and reading. The family are extremely tidy, and the home is immaculate with a gym for you to use in your spare time should you wish to. The family do employ a full-time housekeeper who takes care of most of the  laundry so you can focus on the children however everyone pitches in and the nanny they hire should have a muck in attitude and happy to do the children laundry when needed. This is the type of family who wants their nanny to take the lead with the children and their schedule, they welcome your expertise and believe communication is important and welcome any suggestion you may have. Mum is around and is very involved with the children and with three children believes working together to achieve the best possible care for them is essential. The ideal nanny should be happy to work alongside the parents but also someone that they can trust and rely on to take sole charge.

 

Extra information: The family do require a driver, and parking is available should you wish to drive to work , they are also looking for a nanny who has an interest in nutrition and can prepare meals for the children from scratch

 

Job specification:

 Mixture of sole and shared care
•    Planning and preparing healthy nutritious meals for the children (the baby has recently stated to eat solids)
•    Driving the children when needed
•    Planning playdates, researching, and attending classes that are age appropriate
•    Coming up with fun actives in the home that will help with development including arts and crafts, creative play in addition to reading and writing and assisting with the older son’s homework
•    Keeping on top of the children’s toys and replacing what is needed or suggesting new ones
•    Wardrobe management the children, putting laundry away, swapping out clothes when needed
•    Travelling on some of the holidays – the rota will switch to 2 weeks on/off when travelling

 

Candidate specification:

 Must have experience working with multiple children including babies who is maternal and loving
•    Must be physically fit ability to keep up with the children who love being outside, walking to school and nursery weather permitting
•    Fluent verbal and written English skills are a must for language development- someone who is highly organised with excellent communication skills
•    A childcare degree or diploma is required
•    An interest in education, confident with the early years developmental milestones including potty training
•     Happy upbeat personality who can take the lead, uses your initiative, a good role model for the children who will provide a safe, structured but fun environment Professional, discreet, and well presented
•     Ideally familiar with the North London area
•      A confident driver
•      An interest in children’s nutrition
•     Good communication skills- happy to make suggestions on what the children need
•    A muck in attitude, happy to pitch in where needed, the family has a great attitude to their staff, and everyone gets on and helps where needed.
•    It is essential you are organised, extremely tidy and takes pride in what you do.
•    Rota experience is not essential if you can demonstrate you are confident working with three children in a busy environment

 

Enhanced dbs. dated within the year and paediatric first aid will be required at offer stage
