Job Summary and Responsibilities
Performs routine patient care activities and related non-professional services in the care of the sub-acute, acute, and critically ill patient under the direction of the R.N. circulator and first line supervisor. This position treats/cares for patients of all ages. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Demonstrates the ability to safely and competently perform tasks and procedures according to Medical Center policy and procedure. Including, but not limited to:Transfers patients in a safe manner, communicates to patient and family members. Knows location of all departments.Demonstrates ability to organize and perform room support tasks/duties without having to be directedControls environment and performs appropriate housekeeping duties.Assists team members in gathering patient care needs.Demonstrates ability to set-up equipment and have necessary accessories ready when needed. Shows ability to trouble-shoot (problem solve) equipment/monitors.Job Requirements
