Overview
We are currently recruiting a Rolling Stock Maintenance Specialist to support the maintenance of passenger rail fleet. You will be responsible for providing technical support to continually improve the reliability of the fleet, including fault-finding, troubleshooting and general routine maintenance. Electrical RS specialists are preferred, requiring an Electrical Trade Qualification.
Location- Sydney, NSW
Duration- Temp - 12-month contract
Hours- Rotating Roster – Morning, Afternoon and Night Shift
Rate- Competitive Rate with Penalties
Responsibilities Daily review of train fleet performance Conduct routine inspections, fault finding and troubleshooting (mechanical or electrical) Defect rectification Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with standards and work instructions Manage failure investigations and customer feedback of findings Develop, review and improve technical maintenance plans and other supporting documentation Perform RCA of defects following release to service Raise equipment non-conformance reports and provide assessments
Required Experience Trade Background – Electrical or Mechanical Qualification 3+ years of locomotive or passenger rolling stock maintenance experience on site RIW Card Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Corrective Maintenance, Root Cause analysis Experience with fault-diagnostic tools
