The Position

Reporting to the Product Owner (PO) BPM Framework & Methodology, the Roche Core Methodology Lead ensures the systematic definition and maintenance of methodologies and standards for managing core elements and related business rules within the global Business Process and ERP template (e.g., ASPIRE SuperCompany). This role manages definitions and rules for Master Data, Organizational Elements, Business Rules, Configurations, Technical Settings, etc., in the ASPIRE global Roche ERP system and interfaces. The Methodology Manager will enable the utilization of common methods, conventions, and tools to proactively ensure compliance with Roche Core standards and conduct retroactive compliance checks through methods such as “health checks”. Additionally, this role provides the concept for Template Governance (e.g. Design Authority) and oversees its implementation and integrity within RSS and Roche.

The Opportunity

Owns the creation, maintenance, and protection of core elements and business rules within enterprise process and system templates.

Represents and ensures business governance for Roche's core definitions and business rules in future business process and system templates.

Accountable for developing and aligning the enterprise-level Core Element Strategy with IT to ensure successful design and delivery in respective solutions(e.g. ASPIRE SuperCompany)

Defines and oversees enterprise-level core element governance by establishing strategies and governance processes, ensuring collaboration and alignment with respective functional and Business Process Owners, and owning and maintaining clear standards and guidelines

Monitors compliance with Roche core standards, overseeing structure, hierarchy, and naming conventions for all core elements to enable transparency between business processes and IT solutions, and to support consistent template management in IT solutions

Leads the development and implementation of Core Element quality standards, owns and maintains a central repository for their definitions

Partners with external organizations to integrate Master Data entities with systems outside of S/4 and establishes and monitors KPIs for Core Element management.

Defines and owns the concept for Template Governance, including Design Authority at Enterprise and Value Stream levels, driving implementation and safeguarding effective governance and decision making.

Assumes the role of Business System Owner for the S/4 HANA system, as well as potentially other systems in the global ERP backbone.
