Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Robotics and Equipment Engineer to inspect, confirm, and prepare new or modified equipment for manufacturing production. You will be responsible for on-site robot programming and interlocking, ensuring new model equipment meets standards and performs as intended. The role involves preparing and confirming new Body Weld equipment at vendor sites and supporting weld machine activities at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production.
Responsibilities
Inspect and confirm new or modified equipment for manufacturing production.On-site robot programming and interlocking.Ensure new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.Prepare and confirm new Body Weld equipment at vendor locations.Support weld machine activities from installation to start of production.Develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trials.Engage in travel to U.S., Canada, Mexico, and potentially other countries, including Japan, with a willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Industrial Maintenance related field1+ years of experience in PE roles3+ years of Automotive experienceExperience with mentoring and/or technical trainingPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
