Job Description

The purpose of this role is to setup and operate robotic platforms dedicated to high-throughput human sample analysis in a fast-paced GXP environment.

Job Duties:

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail to deliver quality and accurate results.Deliver customer satisfaction by listening to and exceeding customer expectations.Work independently and as part of a team, with integrity, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.Use and maintain electronic laboratory notebooks to document experiments.Perform routine cleaning, calibrations and verifications of a range of analytical instruments and liquid handling platforms.Daily reagent startup and shutdown of instruments.Troubleshoot errors with quick resolution.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Associate of Science degree with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in robotics and/or automation.Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).Experience with laboratory liquid handler(s) (e.g. Beckman/Hamilton/Tecan) a plus.Experience with Serology (bead-based antibody) and/or Molecular (real time PCR) assays.Experience in instrument validation.Experience in a regulated environment (GxP).

Additional Information

Position is Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
