Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the design and development of roadway and temporary traffic control plans for a variety of transportation projects while growing under the mentorship of licensed engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteriaDevelop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open RoadsApproach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problemsPrepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineerMay track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designersResponsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasksCommunicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasksEffectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external partiesAdhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaignsEnsure timely completion of time sheets and expense reportsTake ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering0-3+ years of related work experience

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
