We are looking to appoint Road Maintenance Workers to deliver routine maintenance activities of roads, bridges, tunnels, and other associated infrastructure on the Citylink network and Westgate Tunnel. In this role, you will assist with a variety of duties including, but not limited to landscaping, graffiti removal, mowing and general labouring support for electricians. This position is essential for maintaining the safety of the Citylink network and minimising disruptions for motorists.

These roles involve rotating day and night shifts (7am–7pm & 7pm–7am) on a 6-week cycle. The schedule includes varied work blocks and days off, with patterns such as 4/2, 3/4, and 4/5.

What you'll bring

Ideally you will have exposure across roadside maintenance works or landscapingHave a current MR licence, Construction White Card & Traffic Control TicketComfortable working shift work – day and nights (12 hr shifts)Strong safety focus - actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategiesA can-do attitude and strong 'team player' with the proven ability to work efficiently with a team
