We are seeking a highly skilled and independent RN Vascular Access to join our team at St. Marys Hospital. This role is ideal for a nurse with advanced vascular access skills who thrives in a consultative, autonomous environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced vascular access procedures including:PICC line placementsMidline catheter insertionsUltrasound-guided peripheral IVs (PIVs) for patients with difficult vasculatureRespond to consults and independently manage patient assessments and proceduresCollaborate with bedside teams to support challenging PIV placementsServe as a clinical expert and resource for vascular access best practicesSchedule & Flexibility:
12-hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, and SundayNo holidays requiredJob Summary:
Provides support for the business objectives to support program(s) of a defined area.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates to identify program opportunities and recommends business plan and budget.Promotes the program and referral sources for targeted customers. Builds relationships within discipline to develop business.Collaborates in the development of marketing outreach activities and communication materials.Analyzes and recommends actions based on key program trends and milestones.Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensingEXPERIENCE
One year registered nurse or operating room experience (non nursing) in related department or critical care role
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
