Job Summary
The Trauma Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining a comprehensive trauma program, including system development, quality improvement, and staff education. This role manages the trauma registry, supports accreditation processes, and serves as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders. The Trauma Coordinator works collaboratively with leadership and clinical teams to enhance trauma care delivery, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and promote program growth.

3-6 years of clinical nursing experience in emergency or trauma care requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
In-depth knowledge of trauma systems, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.Strong analytical skills to compile, analyze, and report data effectively.Proficiency in managing trauma registries and using data to inform program improvements.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders, including medical staff and regulatory agencies.Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.Leadership and organizational skills to manage program growth and accreditation processes.Proficiency in trauma care protocols and advanced life support techniques.Licenses and Certifications
