\nJob Summary
\nAs a Transfer Coordinator RN, you help patients move within Baylor Scott & White Health System. Your main job is to make it easier for doctors and patients to access our facilities and providers through the Transfer Center. You will focus on providing excellent customer service and interaction, leading to higher customer satisfaction.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n\nYou will ensure smooth patient transfers by working closely with physicians, nurses, and other departments while following laws. Plans will promote good outcomes and efficient hospital stays.\nYou will provide excellent customer service within and outside the organization, striving to be helpful and responsive.\nYou'll follow protocols to gather information accurately and on time from other institutions and physicians.\nYou'll enhance services provided to all facilities within our System with this information and our resources.\nYou will strive to ensure that all documentation is clear, concise and meets standards by using appropriate forms.\nYour role includes managing customer relationships by driving satisfaction among referring physicians and expanding BSWH market share. This involves follow-up calls, clear communication, and prompt issue resolution. You will oversee and assist the Transfer Center Room Control Coordinator.\n\nWhat Will Make You Successful In The Role
\n\nYou should have broad knowledge and understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.\nKnow laws, regulations, standards from certifying agencies and accreditation bodies.\nUnderstand hospital and department policies for your assignment.\nUnderstanding medical terms, health methods, risk reduction, and disease management is crucial. \n\n\nQualifications
Associate's degree in a relevant field is required.A minimum of (3) three years of work experience.Possessing a valid and current registered nurse (RN) license is mandatory.
