With this schedule, you will work two 12-hour shifts every weekend and one during the week. Weekend shift options start at 7:00PM on Fridays and end at 7:30AM on Mondays. This position supports the weekend/night float pool at Main Campus. Required to work every Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday shift.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures. + Perform scrub and circulating functions. + Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing + Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic's Perioperative Residency Program + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire if performing moderate/procedural sedation Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
