And if you're relocating to join us, you could be eligible for relocation assistance. + Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. **A caregiver in this role works days/evenings/nights/weekends from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with a Saturday rotation for surgeries, plus on-call responsibilities.** **_On-call coverage consists of 4-6 shifts over a six-week period, with one of those shifts scheduled on a weekend._** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures. + Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure. + Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure. + Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) + Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic's Perioperative Residency Program + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire + One year of Operating Room RN experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) **Physical Requirements:** + Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. + Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. **Pay Range** Minimum hourly: $35.50 Maximum hourly: $55.60 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
