RN Supervisor UM Inpatient Clinical

Responsibilities

***This role is remote (with a clear and current CA RN license), but will be expected to work PST business hours.

***This role will require Admin on-call on weekends/holidays.

Position Summary:


The Supervisor of Utilization Management Inpatient Clinical will oversee clinical inpatient UM staff, ensuring they effectively perform utilization management (UM) reviews for inpatient cases. This role works closely with the Care Coordination and Care Management teams, which are distinct pillars, to ensure appropriate utilization reviews and that care is delivered efficiently. The Supervisor will also ensure adherence to internal and external policies, regulations, and goals.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


- Minimum of 3 years’ in recent Managed care experience required.
- Experience supervising staff and monitoring productivity/performance required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Registered Nursing.
- Clear and current CA RN license.

Preferred Qualifications:


- 3+ years of acute and/or primary care experience preferred.
- Experience with Medical Criteria Group application preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other clinical advanced degree preferred.
