Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Guest Care & Advocacy:
+ Coordinates services with various public and private community health, mental health and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
+ Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
+ Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
+ Provides individual and family counseling.
+ Participates in the development of educational curriculum.
+ Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure.
+ Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
+ Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
+ Compliance & Risk Management:
+ Administers medication as required by protocol.
+ Completes clinical documentation as required.
+ Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
+ Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
+ Cross Functional Collaboration:
+ Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
+ Additional Duties:
+ Performs other related duties assigned.
The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders. The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care. The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
