Responsible for providing new hire orientation, annual follow-up training, and education in-service programs as needed for all staff. The SDC plans, organizes, implements, and coordinates facilities on going educational needs. In addition, SDC monitors Relias compliance, OSHA, and employee medical files, CPR certifications, and licenses. Participates and is actively involved in Infection Prevention, surveillance, and QAPI; The SDC will be part of the nursing management team, will be involved in the nursing management call schedule.
