The School Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) supports the delivery of student care within a school setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician, as required by state guidelines. The School LVN assists in supporting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students and plays an important role in promoting student health and safety. Responsibilities include responding to medical needs, assisting with the management of chronic health conditions, and collaborating with families, school staff, and healthcare providers. All services are provided in accordance with Amergis’ philosophy, standards, policies, and physician orders, and within the LVN scope of practice.
