The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting patients in attaining and maintaining Amergisum function due to chronic illness and/or a debilitating injury. The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse assists patients in the recovery process, as well as creating a recovery plan with the ultimate goal of achieving an independent lifestyle as much as possible. Minimum Requirements: Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices One year prior professional nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Essential Job Details: Southern Kentucky Rehab Hospital Modality & Specialty RN Rehab (Acute Experience) Local Pay: $45-50 Travel Pay Package: $2074 (476 meals & 770 housing) Specific Skills/Qualifications Needed Position Requirements: Previous rehab hospital experience or acute experience required MSP/VMS: Direct OT Rules: x1.5 after 40 Start Date: 1/5 Length of Contract: 13 weeks Shift: Days 7a-7p Hours/Week: 36 Submittal Packet: Resume to submit Feedback Time: 24-48 Hours Additional Details: Offers both inpatient (with 60 licensed beds) and outpatient rehabilitation. Treats a wide range of conditions: neurological (stroke, brain injuries), orthopedic (joint replacement, fractures, amputations), spinal cord disorders/injuries, cardiopulmonary illnesses, musculoskeletal, rheumatic conditions, and more. Provides these specialized services: Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, Respiratory Care, Social Services Diagnostic Radiology, Clinical Lab, Dietary Services.
