This role requiresstrong clinical expertise, team management, and communication skills, ensuring exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities RN Unit Manager – Responsibilities + Develop, implement, and evaluatecomprehensive nursing care plans for residents, ensuring coordination with interdisciplinary team goals and approaches. + Promote a safe, organized, and welcoming environmentfor both residents and staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality on the unit. + Actively participate in meetings, trainings, and in-servicesas requested by the Administrator and Director of Nursing to stay aligned with organizational goals and updates. + Identify and implement improvementsthat enhance the quality of resident care and increase team productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction. + Foster a positive team cultureby encouraging engagement, recognizing contributions, and supporting professional growth among nursing staff. Qualifications RN Unit Manager – Qualifications + Licensure & Registration + Must possess a currentState Registered Professional Nurse licenseand active registration. + Experience Requirements + Minimum of2 years nursing experience, with at least1 year in a nursing leadership role. + Experience or strong interest ingeriatrics required; experience working withdementia patients is highly desirable. + Education + Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)preferred. + Leadership & Communication Skills + Proven ability tosupervise and coordinate resident carewithin a clinical setting. + Strongverbal and written communication skills, with a talent for creative problem-solving and diplomacy. + Demonstrates keyleadership characteristics, including: + A desire for continuous improvement + The ability to build trust and motivate teams + A commitment to fostering an environment of pride and professional excellence + This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
