**Responsibilities**
Serve as a clinical, quality, evidence-based practice and patient safety expert. Develop caregivers in specific clinical areas in collaboration with clinical leaders. Drive nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
+ Partner with clinical leaders to serve as a resource and supports caregivers to improve outcomes. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve quality and safety outcomes.
+ Collaborate with clinical leaders and clinical professional development in identifying gaps and developing plans to improve professional growth, skills and competencies.
+ Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient safety data with a focus on using data to drive improved care outcomes and nursing practice.
+ Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level.
+ Aide in the analysis of research outcomes and devise strategies for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
+ Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted.
+ Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Work Experience:
+ 2 years applicable experience required.
+ 5 years preferred.
**Additional Preferences**
BSN required
3-5 years RN experience preferred
Masters in related Healthcare preferred
