**RN / Registered Nurse / Infection Control Operations**
**$10,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible new part-time and full-time employees joining UW Medicine**
**Harborview Medical Center – Infection Control Operations** has an outstanding opportunity for **Registered Nurse** .
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ 75% FTE (30 hours per week), Day Shift, 7am – 5:30pm, and includes week-end work.
**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION AND POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
The position of the **INFECTION CONTROL OPERATION NURSE** is an integral member of a highly specialized, multidisciplinary medical center program to support HMC operations as it relates to patients with infection control precautions. This position collaborates with teams and individuals to aid in appropriate placement of patients, provides education support around IPC policies, and is empowered to make decisions surrounding co-horting and clearing based on IPC policies. They act as experts in the field of infection prevention and control to help serve our organization.
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Managing triage and patient flow of patients with a variety of infectious disease, including, but not limited to COVID-19, XDROs, Candida auris, suspected and confirmed tuberculosis.
+ General Review, Organization, Co-horting, and Clearance of isolation precautions related to infection type.
+ Work closely with Nursing Supervisors and ED Charge RN for rapid assessment and co-hortability of new infectious disease patients.
+ Rounding on inpatient units and departments throughout HMC to provide IPC support to frontline staff.
+ Contact and disclosure support for Infection Preventionists with unit and institutional outbreaks.
**REQUIREMENTS**
Requires minimum two years RN work experience.
Proven record of project completion, program planning, execution, and status reporting.

**Compensation, Benefits and Position Details**
**Pay Range Minimum:**
$91,152.00 annual
**Pay Range Maximum:**
$165,576.00 annual
**Other Compensation:**
$10,000 Recruiting Incentive for eligible new hires
$1/hour BSN premium
$1.25/hour certification premium
$4/hour Week-Ends
Relocation Incentive as applicable
