WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time as needed Mon - Fri, Day Shift DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Heart Institute Clinic at Mountlake Terrace (MLT) provides care for our general cardiology patients, as well as multiple cardiac subspecialties, including non-invasive imaging. The Heart Institute at Northwest (NW) provides care for our general cardiology patients as well as multiple cardiac subspecialties, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and non-invasive imaging. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: Locations conveniently located near public transportation Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing the patient undergoing different Echocardiogram and Stress tests and doing Definity and Bubble Studies as indicated Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiologists, surgeons, interventionalists, other sub-specialty nurses, advanced practice providers, sonographers, research team, and administrative staff to coordinate, support, and optimize the medical care of the patient population IV skills, Stress echo monitoring, ECG analysis Monitoring and checking defibrillators and similar equipment Working knowledge of Universal Precautions Patient education and teaching REQUIREMENTS: Active WA State or Multi-State RN License by start date 2 years of current or recent nursing experience in cardiovascular nursing, ICU, ER, or Telemetry ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWEST: UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
