RN/Registered Nurse Experienced ICU 90% Nights
**Job Description** **This recruitment offers a $10,000.00 Recruitment Incentive to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine** **UW Medical Center - Montlake** has an outstanding opportunity for **experienced ICU Registered Nurses.** Our ICU nursing opportunities may include positions on the following units: ICU Resource Team ~ Experienced ICU Nurses who are able to work in several ICU units. Requires at least two years recent ICU experience in a variety of ICU units. Surgical ICU ~ This is a 14 bed unit. Patient population includes direct recovery for ICU surgical cases and liver transplants. Requires two years recent ICU experience. Medical/Oncology ICU. This is a 24 bed unit. Patient population on this unit includes medical ICU cases and Bone Marrow Transplant. Requires at least two years of recent ICU experience. Cardiothoracic ICU ~ This is a 24 bed unit. Patient population includes cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, vascular, heart and lung transplant, MCS, VV, ECLS, and TAVR. Requires at least two years recent ICU experience. CCU ICU is a 21-bed unit. Patient population includes acute heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, pre heart transplant patients and post-cardiac cath lab procedures. **WORK SCHEDULE** 100% or 90% night and rotating shifts. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Work alongside physicians, intensivists, social workers, and care managers + Follow evidence-based nursing practices + Provide bedside for critically ill patients, including those admitted for septic shock, post-cardiac arrest, acute respiratory failure, and strokes + Monitor and administer medications and IVs + Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect **REQUIREMENTS** **Positions require a minimum of 2 years of current/recent ICU nursing experience.
