We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Under general supervision, provides clinically competent professional nursing care in accordance with the multidisciplinary plan of care and physician orders. Uses nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver and document patient care. Direct and guides patient care activities of team members with primary responsibility for sedation anesthesia procedures + Performs and documents complete biopsychosocial assessment of radiology patients. Identifies patient and family problems and develops an individualized plan of care + Implements appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings. Evaluates patients’ response to interventions and modifies plan of care + Administers medications, IVs, and transfusions in accordance with physicians’ orders and standards of nursing practice. + Conducts assessment of patient and family educational needs and ability to learn; performs and documents teaching; and evaluates patients’ comprehension. + Works effectively with all members of the healthcare team to assure the delivery of comprehensive quality care to all patients + Provides leadership and guidance to other members of the healthcare team in the provision of patient care. + Maintains level of professional registered nursing practice through participation in educational programs and professional activities. + Adherence to all relevant Hospital Administrative, Human Resources, Nursing, and Department Policies and Procedure **Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:** + Current California Registered Nurse License. + Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course. + Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Course. + NIH Stroke Scale Certification + PALS certification required within 6 months of hire + One (1) year of full-time equivalent or more prior experience in an acute care environment as a Registered Nurse.
