Salary: $29985 / Week The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse,requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise.PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition tothe assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance usedisorders. The nurse demonstratesability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner anddemonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination ofpatient care. The PMH RN works in avariety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families,and communities when applicable. Minimum Requirements: + Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing + Current CPR if applicable + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age ________________________________________________________ This is a Criminal Psychiatric hospital. All staff will have to perform holds and physically retrain patients. Assignment Details: + Estimated Start Dates: September 2 + Duration: 24 weeks + Shift: Days or Nights (4x12-hour shifts) + Schedule: Every weekend may be required, schedule flexibility required, floating may be required. + Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to all units. Please keep in mind that you may change units every day, every so often, or even stay on a unit for an extended period of time. They will place individuals where you are needed. + Facility details: Forensic Court Ordered Patients, Acute, Geriatric, Adolescent (May be required to float to all units) Travel RN Compensation: + Hourly Pay: $40.50/hr, $84/hr (OT) + Stipends: $1,149/week + Weekly Total for 48s: $3,441 Travel RN Orientation Compensation: (Orientation weeks estimated at 40 hours; pay will be adjusted accordingly.* Orientation is estimated to be 2-3 weeks.) + Hourly Pay: $21/hr, $31.50/hr (OT) + Stipends: $1,162/week + Weekly Total for 40s: $2,002/wk* Candidate Requirements: + Minimum 2 years of Psychiatric or Behavioral Health experience required. + Skilled in de-escalation and patient restraint + American Heart Association BLS must be active through whole assignment (Red Cross/National not accepted) + CO license or Compact + Must be confident and assertive in managing all units especially in the adolescent psych units. + No requested time off accepted.
