RN Program Coordinator-Sepsis/Quality Improvement Coordinator

This position has overall responsibility for developing, coordinating, and maintaining the Sepsis Program.  This position will also be responsible for supporting organizational quality and performance improvement initiatives, patient safety, regulatory and advancing evidenced based practices as directed by the Director of Quality and Patient Safety Officer.  


Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Experience:

Three (3) years clinical, quality and/or relevant healthcare-related experience.Background in nursing and data management preferred.Experience with ER, ICU, or acute care preferred.Experience with performance improvement methodologies, tools, systems including LEAN methodology preferred.Advanced analytical, communication and problem solving skills.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications

Education:

Bachelor Degree Required - Healthcare Specialty preferredMasters Degree Preferred

License and Certification:

Registered Nurse License - RequiredCertified Emergency or Critical Care Certification (CEN/CCRN) - PreferredCertified Professional Health Care Quality - PreferredWhere You'll Work
