As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.
Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Is a role model for the hospital's Patient Satisfaction effort, i.e. demonstrates AIDET principles when interacting with customers, subordinates and colleaguesDemonstrates, supports and promotes strict adherence to the policies and procedures of Saint Bernardine Medical Center and those of the Surgical Services and instructs staff as needed for failing to follow appropriate protocol.Demonstrates knowledge regarding the cardiac disease process and the appropriate diagnostic and interventional process. Utilizes the Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Documentation and Evaluation in preparing the patient for Cardiac, Surgical, or Radiologic procedures.Demonstrates knowledge of pharmacology including dosing, indications and contraindications of each drug. Ensuring the five "rights" of medication are adhered to. Also assures that controlled medications are accounted for and recorded per hospital policy.Demonstrates proficiency in the use of all specialized equipment related to Surgical Services and Cath Lab procedures.Job Requirements
