Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **RN-Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)** to work at a facility in **Sylmar , California.** These are _registry_ positions with our company. **Pay Rate:** $74 / hour *W2 **Shifts Available:** + Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays + 12 hours + Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed **Qualifications:** + **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN-Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)** + Ability to build rapport with patients + Compassionate and caring demeanor + Familiarity with medical terminology + CPR card issued by the American Heart Association + Must have up to date certification in the state of **CA** + Post Anesthesia Care Unit + MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) + Fire Card **Responsibilities:** + Monitor patients as they wake up from anesthesia + Check vital signs and assess for pain, nausea, or complications + Provide oxygen and manage airways if needed + Administer pain medications and other post-op treatments + Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery + Communicate with surgeons and anesthesia providers about patient status + Educate patients and families about post-op care and discharge instructions + Document all care and observations accurately + Follow infection control and safety procedures + Prepare patients for transfer to their next level of care (unit or discharge) If interested, please apply through this job post.
