Job Summary

7:00pm-7:30am; schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays

$5,000 Sign On Bonus payable after first 90 days for qualified external applicants

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

As an integral member of our Nursing Team, the successful RN candidate will be focused on patient advocacy and delivering the highest quality of care to all patients.

Working in a fast-paced environment that demands excellence every day, you will provide exceptional pre- and post-operative nursing care to our patients and their families in the inpatient care setting.

This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.


 

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferredLicensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) requiredBLS certification requiredPrevious inpatient surgical nursing strongly preferredEPIC knowledge preferredStrong patient centered approach with emphasis on providing exemplary customer service requiredDemonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills requiredMeticulous attention to detail requiredSelf-motivated and proactive; a team player who knows how to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environmentActive participation in process improvement and seeking solutions to problems
