Logan Health's Columbia Falls Primary Care Clinic is looking for a RN or LPN to be part of their compassionate team!

Our bustling clinic is located at 1675 Talbot Talbot Road, in scenic Columbia Falls, MT, and currently supports five medical providers. This position is a true PRN (as needed) role and will help cover open shifts, vacations, and sick calls.

Here's some of what you'll be doing:

Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical history

Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures

Field patient calls and inquiries, including medication refills

Facilitate communication between providers and patients

Administer injections, immunizations, or medications per clinic protocol and state regulations

Provide education to patients and families

Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care

Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality care

RNs only: Participate in clinic triage coverage three days per week

RN Qualifications:

Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting (eg, physician office, clinic, or hospital) preferred.  Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.

Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.

Current AHA BLS certification preferred or must successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.

Understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to, HIPAA guidelines.

Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office; simple routine clinical laboratory methods, universal blood and body fluid precautions.

LPN Qualifications:

Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting (i.e., physician practice or hospital) preferred.

CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).

Possess knowledge of equipment, supplies and instruments used in a medical office preferred.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: PRN, scheduled as needed. Clinic is open Monday - Friday. Shifts are typically between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., but could vary slightly depending on clinic needs.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
