As a Nurse with us you will assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. You will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Weekend Option Commitment & Differential + RN Weekend Option position requires six month commitment to working weekend schedule. $10/hr weekend option differential applies for Saturday and Sunday shifts. **** Previous OR Experience Required*** Day to Day duties: + Circulate and/or Scrub on all cases.Ortho heavy Dept. totals/trauma/ sports Medicine. Spine, Ortho Spine w/navigation (STEALTH , 7D), Podiatry, Plastics, Endo, Cysto, Urology, GI, Robotics (DaVinci XI/ROSA, MAKO), Gen, ENT, Hands GYN, Urology, Bariatrics.Associates are cross trained for all services, no specialized service Teams.Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day’s cases.Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery + 10 OR Suites +1 Cysto Room+1minor procedure room Approx. 600-700+ cases per month Schedule:36hrs/ week- 2 x 12-hour shifts- Saturday and Sunday. + 3rd 12 hr shift during the week. TBD during interviews with OR manager.
