Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **RN - Operating Room (OR)** to work at a facility in **Downey , California.** These are _registry_ positions with our company. **Pay Rate:** $74 / hour *W2 **Shifts Available:** + Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays + 12 hours + Minimum of 1 shifts per week or as needed **Nursing Specialty:** + Operating Room **Qualifications:** + **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Operating Room (OR)** + Ability to build rapport with patients + Compassionate and caring demeanor + Familiarity with medical terminology + CPR card issued by the American Heart Association + Must have up to date certification in the state of **CA** + MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) + Fire Card **Responsibilities:** + Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies + Verify patient identity, surgical procedure, and consent + Assist in positioning and prepping the patient for surgery + Maintain a sterile environment during procedures + Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon (scrub role) + Monitor the patient's vital signs and condition (circulating role) + Document all aspects of the surgical procedure + Count instruments and sponges to ensure nothing is left inside + Communicate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety + Provide post-op updates and hand-off to PACU staff If interested, please apply through this job post.
