We serve as the primary point of entry for patients accessing these services. The department is staffed with at least one Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physician and Mid-Level Clinician at all times. ED Pathway Plan for New Graduates that teaches essential nursing skills in med-surg/tele as an integral part of the inpatient team- those skills will then be transitioned to the ED at 1 year RNs will benefit from coursework and progressively increase their knowledge base, experience, and certs (Cardiac Class, ACLS/PALS, etc.). Further into the program, the Novice Pathway Course through the ENA (Emergency Nurses Association), which includes a 1-year membership, will be assigned. 36 hours, night shift, (7p-7a)every other weekend and holiday rotations Education and Experience required: + State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility) + BLS Certification Preferred Qualifications: + At least one year of nursing experience in the ED or telemetry + BSN + ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certification **As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
