**Description**
PeaceHealth is accepting applications for our upcoming Nurse Residency Program at Sacred Heart Medical Center Riverbend in Springfield, OR.
This is an exciting opportunity for new graduate nurses to enter a program providing technical excellence as well as nursing excellence, compassionate care for our patients and community. The Nurse Residency Program provides a comprehensive transition to practice program offering interactive, evidence-based curriculum designed to build clinical skills and competency in patient outcomes, leadership and the professional nurse role. This is a 12-month program reflecting the Mission, Vision and Values of PeaceHealth (https://www.peacehealth.org/about-peacehealth/mission-values) .
Start dates are determined by looking at several factors: NCLEX, Licensing, relocation and department needs. If you are interested in multiple PeaceHealth locations, you must submit an application to each hospital you are interested in.

**What you bring:**
+ Completed Online Application
+ Resume
+ A new graduate RN (or upcoming graduate) or a RN who has been licensed for less than 12 months with less than 6 months of Acute Care experience as a RN.
+ An active Oregon RN license by date of hire.
+ American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required by date of hire.
+ Able to participate in all program activities throughout the 12-month residency period.
+ Ability to work 36 to 40 hours per week.
+ Available to work 8, 10 or 12-Hour Shifts.
+ Available to work, Day, Eve and Night Shifts
+ Flexible to work any day of the week as schedules rotate per union standards.
+ Willing to sign a 2-year commitment letter
