In general, the patient population in this department is characterized by a need for medical care and monitoring to stabilize and treat their conditions.** **The patient population in this department on isolation can vary widely depending on the reason for the isolation. Isolation precautions are put in place to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, MRSA, or C. difficile, among others. Patients who are in isolation may have a variety of conditions, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal illnesses, or skin infections. It is expected to care for patients who are on isolation precautions. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare.
