Med/Surg Tele 

Patient Population: Telemetry, Respiratory, COVID 19, Pre/Post-Surgical, Geriatrics, Gastrointestinal 

Patient Ratios: 1:5 

Number of Beds: 24 beds 

Department Specifics: 95% BSN, Diverse\nWorkforce, Innovative and team-oriented, actively involved in shared\ngovernance, self-scheduling, strongly promote collaboration across all\ndisciplines and create an atmosphere conducive to learning. 

Shift:  Seasonal Days; 7am-7pm; (13 weeks, the 1st week is a full week of orientation)

Requirement: 2 years of recent hospital acute care RN experience

Job Summary

As a Seasonal RN, you align with our nursing model, manage patient care, evaluate, recognize, create, implement care plans. Monitor patient progress is also vital. Your knowledge will help patients navigate the healthcare system safely, reducing complications. You will use your expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare environment.

Essential Functions of the RoleUsing good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Qualifications

A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experienceRequirement: 2 years of recent hospital acute care RN experienceA valid Registered Nurse licenseThe ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
