As our Ortho Nurse at Good Samaritan, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll help our patients with orthopedic post-operative care.
Comfort patients who are nervous and confused after surgery to make them feel safe and relaxed for their healing. Welcome new patients and make sure they have the medication necessary to manage their post-operative pain.Confidently inform families and patients about home care and their care while staying at the hospital.Work alongside a team of nurses that care about patient well-being as much as you do.Incentives: Up to $15,000 sign on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)

Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing programActive RN license in the state of Nebraska or nurse license compactBLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association Where You'll Work
The Orthopedics Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital is a 22-bed unit that cares for a variety of ortho patients and is Joint Commission Certified in total hip and total knee replacements. We provide state of the art orthopedic procedures in Kearney, NE!
Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
