How you make a difference
The RN MAT Coordinator provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) services across assigned facilities, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered care. This role supports the development, implementation, and expansion of MAT programs through close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including medical, nursing, mental health, psychiatry, and facility staff. The RN MAT Coordinator also provides clinical direction, staff supervision, and training to ensure MAT services are delivered in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the delivery of Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) services across assigned facilities, collaborating closely with medical providers, nursing, mental health, psychiatry, and security staff.Partner with Regional leadership to support MAT program design, expansion, staffing, and ongoing development as needed.Provide clinical direction and supervision in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and organizational standards.Oversee clinical training and professional development for healthcare staff, including training provided to non‑clinical facility staff.Assign and manage clinical duties and responsibilities for healthcare staff, and serve as the primary liaison with facility administration to support effective MAT service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Minimum of Independent Licensure with a Master’s Degree in clinical/counseling psychology or social work from an accredited college or university or be a graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing with a current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which employed.Other substance abuse certification would be desirable though not required.Experience
Experience in the coordination and administration of behavioral health or medical service delivery systems as well as knowledge and/or interest in the provision of integrated behavioral health/medical programming within a multidisciplinary framework.Professional experience in the behavioral health or medical field that indicates knowledge of management and supervision techniques, peer review, data collection and quality assurance.Experience successfully navigating a correctional healthcare setting in which there are multiple stakeholders and needs to consider while maintaining the patient’s needs as the primary focus.Licenses/Certifications
