Job Summary

We are seeking a full time, 36-hour RN Lead to support our practice onsite. The schedule will consist of 4, 9-hour shifts.

The RN Lead is accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. The RN Lead acts in lead capacity to other nursing staff.


Essential Functions:

-Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
-Administer medication to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
-Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
-Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
-Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
-Demonstrates best practices for staff to follow.
-May participate on teams or perform special projects/assignments.


 

Qualifications

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required or
Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS Certification] preferred
Basic Life Support [BLS] Certificate preferred
Oncology Certified Nurse [OCN] preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation Certification [NRP] preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification preferred

Experience
Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required
