**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Terre Haute Regional Hospital is seeking compassionate team player to join our amazing Women’s and Children unit as a Labor and Delivery RN. As part of the Labor & Delivery Team, you will be required to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate ongoing delivery of care for Labor and Anti and Post-Partum patients while assisting management/charge nurse with responsibilities as needed. **You will demonstrate ability to perform maternal and fetal assessment and provides appropriate interventions.**
**As a member of our team you will monitor OB/anesthesia/analgesia and use appropriate interventions for OB pain management.**
**Some key responsibilities for you in this role will be to circulate for and recover C-Sections, demonstrate support for Lactation Services and initiate and document patent teaching.**
**Members of our team actively participate in the orientation of new personnel and have willingness to identify or assume activities relative to the developmental needs of unit and the nursing department.**
**Requirements**
+ **Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse or active Compact State RN licensure.**
+ **BLS certification upon hire and maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital**
+ **ACLS and NRP certification within six months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital**
+ **AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within one year of hire**
+ **Prior OB/Pediatric experience and STABLE certification preferred**
