RN Inpatient Rehab
**Responsibilities** Located on the sixth floor of St. Francis, the 13-bed inpatient rehabilitation area offers care that focuses on improving a patient’s mobility and independence through physical, occupational, and speech therapies. St. Francis sees patients dealing with the physical effects of stroke, fractures, arthritis, cardiac surgery, or neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. + Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients. + Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team, adapting care to changes in patient’s condition as needed. + Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition. + Engage in other activities that will benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, mentoring, etc **Compensation:** Base rate + shift differential **Incentives:** up to $15,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years) **Nurse Residency** : offered for all New Graduates - https://www.chihealth.com/education/professional-training/nurse-residency **Qualifications** + Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state + Graduate of an accredited nursing program + BLS (Basic Life Support) required + NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) required within 3 months of hire + ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required within 5 months of hire + PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required within 5 months of hire + NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required within 6 months of hire + TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) required within 12 months of hire + ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) required within 18 months of hire.
